It's a calming, royal, sweet, gentle, yet strong color. May sound strange, but when I imagine Harlynn's name written in the book of life, I imagine it being written in purple. I have no idea where I got the idea that names in the book of life are written in color, but there's no reason to believe they aren't! Annika's name is pale yellow, Berkley's name is bright blue, Daley's name is dark green, Eric's is crayon orange, and Harlynn's name is deep purple. Call me crazy, roll your eyes, that's just how my mind paints pictures.

And now you know why God placed Colossians 3:2 on your heart - He wanted it drilled into you memory for many, many years. Ever thought of having "Colossians 3:2" tattooed in purple where your iv bruise is? It would sure cause people to ask, and then you could tell them about Harlynn. ...just a thought.

I'm still praying for you all... and crying. <3Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02533121982699361891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7052693318564909128.post-18875465590370762122013-04-25T13:36:28.489-05:002013-04-25T13:36:28.489-05:00I did a little search about the color purple in th...I did a little search about the color purple in the Bible:
-purple was used in the building of the Tabernacle
-Lydia (Acts) was a seller or purple
-purple was a symbol of royalty like when Mordeccai was honored by the king (Esther).
-purple was a symbol of wealth (Luke 16:19)

As for heaven...purple and scarlet are mentioned in Revelation, a woman arrayed with the colors, and the great city clothed with them (17:4, 18:16)

AND... Jesus was clothed in purple (Mark 15).

Your little Harlynn must surely be sporting some fine purple, or at the very least enjoying the majesty of that fine city in it's purple finery!

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03781900623284705756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7052693318564909128.post-9806004690008191162013-04-25T13:21:12.117-05:002013-04-25T13:21:12.117-05:00Dana was telling me the other day of another frien...Dana was telling me the other day of another friend who had lost a baby. That family decided that their child would be honored with butterflies, and butterflies filled their home. She wondered if you all had thought of a similar remembrance.
